My photography interest started when my father’s sister gave me a Kodak Black Box camera when I was eight years old. As I grew older, my interest in photography grew, too.
I took photography and computer classes at Oakland Community College while I was working at General Motors. About that time, a friend at work asked me if I ever thought about shooting weddings. I hadn’t, but gave it a try and started taking pictures with him. My photography business took off, and I was shooting weddings every weekend for about 25 years. Then I hung up my film cameras in 2004.
I have upgraded to digital and currently use both a Fuji S1 and a Nikon D70. I enjoy taking pictures of animals at the zoo, flowers of all kinds, and scenic shots when I travel.
